Missions

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession,

that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."

1 Peter 2:9

We are a small church, but God has called us to proclaim Him.  Here are some local evangelistic and missionary endeavors in which we participate!

Coastal Jail Ministries of Georgia

Our pastor is also a chaplain at the Chatham County Detention Center through CJMGA.  It is an interdenominational Christian ministry that exists to meet the spiritual needs of past and present inmates and staff in the detention enter through genuine gospel hope and deliberate discipleship in biblical living.  We also support the efforts of the CJMGA Transitional Ministry, which has placed nearly 300 former inmates in jobs and churches.

Associated Gospel Churches

Twice a year, on Memorial Day and Veterans' Day, we call for a special offering for AGC.  Its mission statement reads, "Rooted in the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), and recognized by the federal government as an official ecclesiastical endorsing agency, the Associated Gospel Churches (The AGC) exists to represent historic and classic fundamental churches, for the purpose of recruiting, endorsing, and supporting ordained men to serve as chaplains - Pastors in Uniform - in restricted access institutions."

Keller's Flea Market Evangelism

One of our elders started sharing the gospel at the flea about a decade ago, and our church has an opportunity to train our church members in evangelism.  We've been blessed to share the gospel one-on-one as well as hand out gospel tracts and DVDs.  Unfortunately, we've had to take some time off in recently, but we are hoping to resume this ministry later this year!
